Device Helps Probationers Beat Drug Test

Some probationers and job applicants are trying to beat the system with a
device that claims to provide a clean urinalysis test, KSAT reported June
18.

Called "The Whizzinator," the device looks like an athletic supporter that
has a plastic penis attached to it and a trigger that releases clean,
stored urine. The device can be purchased on the Internet for $150.

The Whizzinator recently showed up in Bexar County, Texas, where an
official caught a probationer wearing the device. "He noticed something a
little strange while he was patting him down," said Cynthia Bradley of the
Bexar County Urinalysis Lab. "It was a bit bulky, a little bulkier than
usual."

The man was arrested for the violation and ordered back to jail. "We knew
there was some problem and sure enough we examined him, and looked at him,
and we did find he was wearing a Whizzinator," said Bexar County Chief
Probation Officer Caesar Garcia.
